I'm moving and want to install a new home charger. With all the NACS news, is it smarter to go with a J1772 or NACS wall unit for 2026 and beyond? I drive a Ford, but I'm not sure if I should future-proof now or wait. Anyone else make this decision recently?

If I put in a J1772 now for my Ford, how hard is it to switch to NACS later if things change? In Austin I just call an installer and they sort it out, but traveling I've seen so many new plugs — nervous about picking the wrong one.
so with all these comments, sounds like the right wiring and panel matter way more than my plug choice? in Austin nobody talked about this stuff—just got whatever charger fit. Up north, am I supposed to have my panel looked at every few years too?
