Installing a permanent EV wall charger may not make sense when you rent your home or expect to move. The WenStorm Tesla/NACS Renter EV Charging Kit combines a 25 ft Level 1 portable charger with a 21 ft NACS extension cable, giving renters approximately 50 ft of combined charging reach from a compatible 120V household outlet.

Designed for rental homes, townhouses, apartments with authorized outlet access, and other temporary living situations, the complete setup can be connected when needed, packed away after charging, and taken with you when you move.

Designed for Renters: Charge without permanently mounting a wall charger, drilling into the property, or leaving charging equipment behind. Use the kit at any suitable rental property where you have permission and access to a compatible electrical outlet near your parking space.

Up to 50 FT of Combined Reach: The portable charger includes a 25 ft cable, and the NACS extension adds another 21 ft. This additional reach can help when the available outlet is inside a garage or farther from your assigned parking position.

For the Slim Tesla/NACS Charging Port: Connects directly to Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck without a vehicle adapter. It can also work with other compatible vehicles equipped with a NACS AC charging inlet. Compare your vehicle’s charging port with the product photos before ordering.

Plug Into a Compatible 120V Outlet: The integrated NEMA 5-15 plug connects directly to a properly installed, grounded household outlet for Level 1 charging. No separate outlet adapter or permanently installed Wall Connector is required.

Designed for Overnight Top-Ups: Level 1 charging typically adds approximately 2–5 miles of range per hour. It is best suited for shorter daily commutes, overnight top-ups, plug-in hybrids, and backup charging when a 240V charging setup is unavailable. Actual speed depends on the vehicle, battery temperature, outlet condition, and circuit capacity.

No Household Extension Cord Needed: The included extension connects between the portable charger’s NACS handle and the vehicle. It is purpose-built for EV charging and eliminates the need to daisy-chain ordinary household extension cords.

AC Charging Only: The NACS extension is designed for compatible Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging equipment. It is not compatible with Tesla Superchargers or other DC fast-charging stations.

Easy to Pack and Move: Both cables can be coiled and stored in a garage, closet, or vehicle trunk. When your lease ends, disconnect the kit and take the complete charging setup to your next home.

Safety Monitoring and Weather Resistance: The portable charger is ETL Listed and includes temperature monitoring designed to reduce or stop charging if unusual heat is detected. Its IP55-rated construction supports indoor and outdoor charging when the charger and connections are kept away from standing water.

Use Only With Permission: Obtain permission before using an outlet owned by a landlord, property manager, HOA, or shared building. Never route the cable through doors or windows where it could be pinched, across public walkways, or through areas where vehicles could drive over it.
