The WenStorm Airbnb Host EV Charging Kit combines a 32A NACS portable charger with a NACS-to-J1772 adapter, helping vacation rental hosts support compatible Tesla/NACS and J1772 guest vehicles with one portable Level 2 charging setup.

Airbnb allows guests to filter listings by available amenities, including EV charging. Adding an accurately described charging option can help EV travelers find your property and understand exactly what equipment will be available when they arrive.

Support NACS and J1772 Guest Vehicles

Guests with a compatible NACS charging port can connect directly to the portable charger. Guests with a round five-pin J1772 port can use the included NACS-to-J1772 adapter.

Two Simple Connection Options

• NACS guest: NEMA 14-50R outlet → WenStorm NACS portable charger → NACS vehicle
• J1772 guest: NEMA 14-50R outlet → WenStorm NACS portable charger → NACS-to-J1772 adapter → J1772 vehicle

One Charger for Two Common AC Standards

Hosts do not need to purchase separate NACS and J1772 portable chargers. The included adapter bridges the NACS charging handle to compatible J1772 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

Plug Directly Into a NEMA 14-50 Outlet

The charger’s integrated NEMA 14-50 plug connects directly to a properly installed, grounded 240V NEMA 14-50R receptacle. No separate outlet adapter or permanently installed wall charger is required.

Up to 32A Level 2 Charging

The portable charger supports charging at up to 32A and approximately 7.7 kW. A compatible guest vehicle may add approximately 20–30 miles of range per hour, depending on the vehicle, onboard charger, battery temperature and electrical conditions.

Designed for Overnight Guest Charging

Guests can add meaningful range while the vehicle is already parked overnight. A complete charge is not guaranteed because charging time depends on battery size, arrival charge level and the vehicle’s maximum AC charging rate.

For Rental Homes With a Suitable Outlet

This kit is designed for vacation rentals, cabins, guesthouses and short-term rental properties with access to a compatible NEMA 14-50 outlet near the designated parking space. If no suitable outlet is available, installation by a qualified electrician may be required.

Portable Instead of Permanently Mounted

Store the charger and adapter securely between reservations, or make them available only when an EV-driving guest requests charging. The kit can also be moved between rental properties, although it can serve only one charging location at a time.

Clear Compatibility for Guests

Ask guests whether their vehicle has a slim NACS port or a round J1772 port before arrival. Vehicle connectors can vary by manufacturer and model year, so provide photos of both connector options in your listing or guest instructions.

AC Charging Only

The portable charger and NACS-to-J1772 adapter are designed for compatible AC charging. The adapter cannot be used with Tesla Superchargers or other DC fast-charging stations.

Built for Extended Charging Sessions

The portable charger is ETL Listed and includes temperature monitoring designed to reduce or stop charging if unusual heat is detected. Its IP55-rated construction supports indoor and outdoor charging when the charger and connections are kept away from standing water.

Create a Designated Charging Area

Keep the cable away from doors, stairs, public walkways and vehicle tires. Give guests clear instructions for connecting, disconnecting and storing the equipment, and inspect the outlet, charger and adapter regularly.
