Public fast chargers are not the only way to add range during a road trip. Many RV parks and campgrounds offer 30A electrical hookups, giving Tesla owners another potential overnight charging option when a compatible TT-30 outlet is available.

The WenStorm Tesla Gen 2 TT-30 Road Trip Adapter & Extension Kit combines a TT-30 adapter with a 21 ft, 50A-rated NACS extension cable. It lets Tesla owners use their existing Gen 2 Mobile Connector at compatible RV sites while providing additional reach when the electrical pedestal is farther from the vehicle.

Requires a Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector — charger not included.

Turn an RV Stop Into an Overnight Charging Opportunity: Use the time your vehicle is already parked at an RV park, campground, cabin or recreational site to add range overnight. Outlet availability and EV-charging policies vary, so confirm both before arriving.

Charge From Compatible TT-30 RV Outlets: The included adapter has a NEMA TT-30P plug designed for compatible NEMA TT-30R receptacles. These 3-prong, 120V outlets are commonly used for 30A RV electrical hookups.

Up to 24A at 120V: The TT-30 adapter supports charging at up to 24A and approximately 2.9 kW when used with a compatible outlet and Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector. TT-30 is a higher-current 120V charging option, not 240V Level 2 charging.

Approximately 7–10 Miles of Range Per Hour: A compatible Tesla may add roughly 7–10 miles of range per charging hour. Actual results depend on the vehicle, battery temperature, weather, electrical supply and charging losses. Larger or less-efficient vehicles may add fewer miles per hour.

Adds 21 FT of Vehicle-Side Reach: The included 50A NACS extension connects between the Tesla Mobile Connector handle and the vehicle. Combined with the Mobile Connector’s approximately 20 ft cable, it provides around 41 ft of total charging reach.

Useful for Awkward RV-Site Parking: The additional reach helps when the electrical pedestal is behind the campsite, on the opposite side of the parking position or farther from the Tesla charging port than the original Mobile Connector cable can reach.

Correct Connection Order: TT-30R outlet → WenStorm TT-30 adapter → Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector → 21 ft NACS extension → Tesla.

For Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector Only: The TT-30 adapter does not fit Tesla Gen 1 or Gen 3 Mobile Connectors, Tesla Wall Connectors, WenStorm portable chargers or unrelated third-party charging equipment.

Mobile Connector Not Included: This bundle is designed for Tesla owners who already have a compatible Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector. The adapter and extension cable cannot charge a vehicle by themselves.

TT-30 Is Not a Dryer Outlet: NEMA TT-30 and NEMA 10-30 are different receptacles. TT-30 is a 120V RV outlet, while NEMA 10-30 is an older 240V dryer outlet. Compare the receptacle with the product photos before connecting.

AC Charging Only: The NACS extension cable is designed for compatible AC charging. It cannot be used with Tesla Superchargers or other DC fast-charging stations.

Compatible Tesla Vehicles: Designed for Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X when used with a compatible Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector. Confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle and charging equipment before traveling.

Portable Road-Trip Backup: Store the adapter and extension cable in your trunk alongside your Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector. The bundle provides another destination-charging option when your route includes RV parks or campgrounds with compatible electrical hookups.

Confirm Before You Arrive: Reserve a site with a compatible electrical hookup and ask whether EV charging is permitted. Do not use a receptacle that is loose, damaged, discolored or unusually warm.
